Local dialling appear about to end due to a lack of available numbers
Ofcom has reported that a number of areas of Britain will no longer be capable of make local calls without needing the area code as phone numbers in a number of areas are running out of numbers. The plan will be started in Bournemouth the coming year, with many other areas not having enough numbers for example Aberdeen, Bradford, Brighton, Cambridge and Milton Keynes looking set to be involved

Statistics released by the communications regulator have said that there were various circumstances of illegal hacking of phone systems in the first part of 2011. The Commission for Communications Regulation (Comreg) has issued an alert to all companies and organisations after there was an increase in the amount of those who think their telephone exchanges could have been illicitly compromised.
